Description

Monitor actual progress against contractors’ approved programs, and report delays together with proposed corrective measures.
Prepare weekly site progress reports and monthly reports, and submit them to the Civil Engineer Consultant and SVA Engineer.
Participate in regular site meetings and record minutes and agreed actions, as required.
Verify at sites the actual completed activities submitted by contractors.
Prepare measurement sheets and supporting documentation for contractors’ payment applications, for review by the Civil Engineer Consultant and SVA Engineer.
Record and report site conditions or instructions that may give rise to variations or claims, with supporting evidence, for review by the Civil Engineer Consultant and SVA Engineer.
Monitor contractors’ daily implementation of occupational health and safety (OHS) measures, including use of protective equipment (PPE), site fencing and barricading, safety signage, safe working at height, and first aid, with particular attention to the safety of children, teachers, and community members at operating preschools.
Monitor implementation of E&S mitigation measures at construction sites, including dust and noise control, waste management.
