About the role

Alert, follow up, and recover defaulted loans by conducting site visits, coordinating with local authorities, manually settling overdue accounts, blocking overdue client accounts, and resolving problems with overdue and defaulted clients.
Monitor overdue and defaulted loans daily to provide timely updates or recommendations to upper management.
Prepare and submit daily reports of overdue and repayment status for all credit facilities to inform stakeholders.
Input two-week reminders of repayment reports into the shared drive for branch actions according to bank policy.
Input and update the status of analyzed cases into Case Under Analysis of Recovery to ensure proper resolution.
Follow up and verify with branch loan officers for updates on reasons for late repayment and next action plans.
Review and update overdue clients exceeding bank policy timelines for timely case handling.
Track and prepare lists of restructured or red clients by working closely with branch loan officers for better repayment administration.
Respond to inquiries, issues, or errors related to repayment from branch personnel when required.
Arrange appropriate times to chase and follow up with clients to ensure agreed terms and conditions are met.
Process manual settlements to clients when appropriate.
Conduct site visits to overdue and/or defaulted clients when assigned by the loan recovery team's upper management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance and banking, accounting, or any relevant field.
Minimum one year of experience in credit functions within the financial industry.
Basic understanding of bank branch operations, rules, regulations, laws, loan granting, and credit risk management.
Good problem-solving, negotiation, and convincing skills.
Patience and understanding of emotions to deal with clients.
Ability to use and communicate in both Khmer and English.
Microsoft Office and bank software proficiency.
Excellent organizing, recording, and filing skills.
Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency.
