ABOUT THE ROLES

This is a full-time, on-site position in Phnom Penh for a Retail Operations Manager/Head for a franchise retail business. The Operations Manager/Head provides strategic leadership and coaching to a team of Store Managers. This role is responsible for setting up new stores, driving multi-unit store performance, optimizing profit and loss, and ensuring that every location meets the Franchisor’s high standards for customer service, safety, and brand integrity.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Strategic Leadership: Provide coaching and direction to Store Managers to ensure operational excellence across all store locations.
• P&L Management: Oversee regional budgets and financial statements to maximize net profit and meet annual sales targets.
• Store Standards: Conduct regular site visits to enforce company standards for cleanliness, merchandising, and facility maintenance.
• Talent Management: Lead recruitment, training, and succession planning to build a high-performing management pipeline.
• Marketing Execution: Ensure the consistent rollout of regional marketing programs, promotional displays, and new product launches.
• Customer Experience: Monitor service metrics and mystery shop results to ensure the brand promise is met.
• Capital Projects: Manage regional CAPEX budgets for store remodels, new builds, and the other infrastructure.
• Growth Support: Partner with real estate and franchise teams to identify and evaluate new market expansion opportunities.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Minimum 10–12+ years of progressive retail, F&B, Bakery, or convenience store operations experience, with at least 5–7 years in a multi-site management role from international franchise in/outside Cambodia.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required; an MBA is often preferred for senior-level roles.
• Advanced analytical skills for P&L and budget management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills for presenting to senior leadership.
• Ability to travel extensively (often 50–75%) across the location.
