Description

Collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive decisions.
This includes using statistical methods and data mining techniques to uncover hidden patterns and correlations.
Develop and maintain Dashboards and reports that provide clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.
Ensure that reports are accurate, timely, and tailored to the needs of different departments.
Create, review, and analyze complex, integrated data models and information from various sources (ERP, CRM, EDW, and unstructured data, etc.) to provide insight to key decision makers.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing and maintaining data quality standards.
This involves regular data cleaning, validation, and updating processes.
Perform SQL query tuning and performance optimization on complex inefficient queries.
Utilize intelligence tools and software to automate data collection and reporting processes.
Stay updated with the latest BI tools and technologies to enhance data analysis capabilities.
Provide training and support to team members on data analysis and intelligence tools.
This includes creating training materials and conducting shops or one-on-one sessions.
Understand project management concept from inception to completion, ensuring that project goals are met on time and within budget.
This includes defining project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of BI initiatives to ensure they meet objectives.
This includes tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjusting as needed.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve BI processes and tools.
This includes researching new technologies and methodologies that can enhance data analysis and reporting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in data science/computer science and engineering/management information system or related fields.
At least 2-3 years of experience in design and develop reports and data visualization dashboards using DAX and other database access means in Power BI, and various reporting & visualization tools.
Experience in writing complex queries and data analysis in various databases: SQL Server, DB2, Couchbase, MySQL, Oracle, SQLITE.
Strong listening skills, team and demonstrate intellectual curiosity.
Ability to independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment without daily oversight.
Ability to with a globally distributed cross functional team.
