Conduct an evidence-based assessment to identify priority capacity development needs, potential strategic partners, and pathways for strengthening the role of local CSOs.
Map the landscape of active or potentially engaging CSOs in development, governance, and accountability.
Assess the organizational, technical, and financial management capacity of a representative sample of these CSOs, including their ability to access and manage institutional donor funding.
Identify specific capacity gaps related to large-scale development and investment processes, community engagement, grievance mechanisms, advocacy, policy dialogue, financial/grant management, safeguarding, risk management, monitoring and evaluation, visibility, communication, and reporting systems.
Provide a strategic overview of the enabling environment for CSO engagement in development and investment processes.
